About Us
Role Summary/Purpose
In this role you will be responsible for growing the flow business in Middle East & Africa by working with sales team to create new opportunities, identifying new applications and sweet spots of in flow measurement
Essential Responsibilities
- Help sales team to create new opportunities by identifying new applications and sweet spot for our products
- Works closely with the Flow Product Management Team and Regional Sales Managers, primarily drive growth strategy for GE Sensing�s Flow business
- Provide technical support for sales team including product training, assistance with product demonstrations
- Drive product presentations and seminars with customers through sales team and distributors
- Liaise between application engineering and sales team for timely generation of quotes and cost effective solutions
- Achieve MEA orders and sales target for flow measurand engagement of sales teams in the region and driving new initiatives for flow product
- Monitor possible flow issues, provide feedback for improvement of product flow and to make sure all the flow issues are communicated
- Drive NPI adoption with sales team providing necessary training on products and applications
- Coordinate between product management team and MEA sales force to drive solutions for customer challenges
- Assists in strategic and product marketing with gathering market data, analyzing new markets and market trends, tracking regulations, driving competitor analysis
- Travel extensively across MEA to support sales team, distributors and customers.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor�s degree in Engineering or Technical field required
- Minimum 3 years global/MEA experience in a technical role in flow measurement technologies
- Oil & Gas industry experience is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
