Tasks:
- Implement marketing plan for the Middle East – Refine measures, schedule a detailed action plan – Conduct educational seminars throughout Middle East to increase awareness and support for the technology within the PROFIBUS sales force and system integrators – Contribute articles to all major publications in the industrial automation area (this includes success / application stories, which serve as references for additional sales wins) in conjunction with Corporate Communications – Actively evaluate and define target customers for PROFIBUS technology – Accompany Siemens and system integrator sales force to appointments at target accounts – Prepare all necessary materials for the market launch of new PROFIBUS products in conjunction with the local Marketing Managers for PCS7 and PROFIBUS PA field instruments – Monitor the market regarding the most important competitors. Ensure an appropriate Siemens strategy for product placement, promotion and pricing to fulfill market needs – Provide feedback to headquarters on how the PROFIBUS technology and products are received in the market place and provide additional requirements to the appropriate organization/ teams – Listen to customer needs; suggest and present solutions with Siemens PROFIBUS components – Serve as a contact point for the customer and the sales representatives during the implementation phase
