Goals/Mission:
Responsible for all aspects of supporting the project management allocated to the PM / LPM
Working Partners/Contacts:
Internal: E T / E T HS Management, Head of Projects, Corporate Departments External: Customers (utility, other contractors and developers), Consultants, Suppliers and Sponsors
Tasks:
- Support the project manager to ensure effective delivery of the project on time, and to budget within the required health and safety requirements – Act as a point of supporting contact for clients / consultants and project principals, agents and contractors – Develop close relationship with specific members of the customer’s organization to support the project management process – Support finance and logistics of the commercial and contractual project management – Support execution of project schedule on time focused on contractual compliance and risks and opportunities – Support the electrical engineering function for the project to ensure the on-time delivery, to budget and the required quality of all engineering documentation / work packages – Support in conjunction with procurement manager project related procurement activities – Support the civil engineering function for the project to ensure the on-time delivery to the required quality of civil engineering and the effective management of all civil construction related activities – Supervise and support with project team members the effective co-ordination of all project related activities – Attend project review meetings and have dialogue with PM / LPM to communicate “best practice sharing” and “lessons learned” – Abide by and comply with the Siemens Business Conduct Guidelines – Always work and act as a team player and constant sense of mutual support
