The job involves quality testing of software applications developed in Microsoft and in Oracle environments. Ideally the candidate should have worked in software development and has been subjected to programming and testing techniques
- Ensure that the developed software is in line with original requirements set by clients or by software manager
- Check the integrity of code submitted by developers and that performance is not adversely affected by the code or by the technology being used
- Ensure that adequate documentation is maintained throughout the test cycle
- Test and certify the final version prior to live deployment
- Report to manager on results of test and on actions taken
