1) Coordinates with Planning and Construction in the calculation and updating of the Company’s productivity (manpower and equipment) rates by activity
2) Develop Budgets
3) Monitors the expenditures and gives forecasts on Cost To Complete
B- OPERATIONAL
1) Studies the Contract documents to become thoroughly acquainted with exact requirements and specifications
2) Performs quantity take-offs of assigned jobs and develops the Job Budget based on Contract documents
3) Provides summary of cost, quantity and missing scopes between the Job Estimate (as prepared by the Business Development Department) and the Job Budget to the Planning and Cost Control Manager.
4) Coordinates with the Planning and Cost Control Manager on the need to raise a Claim if there are differences between the Contract Documents and the IFC Documents.
5) Verifies quantities (against budgeted quantities) on Material Requisition Forms (M.R.F.) from sites before they are processed by Procurement to ensure that they are within the Budget
6) Highlights to the Planning and Cost Control Manager any costs during the job that are not within the signed Job Budget.
7) Verifies quantities and progress percentage for interim Applications for Payment and Invoice submittals
Assists in the preparation of due invoices
9) Assists in the preparation and updating of progress reports that include actual costs and manpower requirements to date and the forecasted costs and manpower requirements to complete the project.
10) Responsible for the preparation of variation orders in coordination with Construction, Engineering, and Planning functions and updates Amanatech
11) Supervises entry of delivery notes and Subcontractor Payment Certificates into Amanatech
12) Responsible for the preparation of the subcontractor interim payments in Amanatech
13) Performs site visits as needed
14) Contributes to the Cost Control section of the Job Closeout Report incorporating differences between the Job Estimate, Job Budget and the actual cost of the job
15) Provides cost to complete analysis to Planning & Cost Control Manager
