Jobs in UAE – Our client, a global Middle East based insurance company is seeking highly qualified Regional Chief Financial Officer to join their management team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be directly reporting to the Chief Executive Officer of the Middle East.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounting functions as well as the timely reporting of accounting entries.
• Formulate accounting control policies and procedures to streamline the accounting functions.
• Research upon the available investment vehicles in the region and recommend investment strategies.
• Prepare the budgets and the financial statements and legal requirements including taxation, dividends, annual report and accounts.
Requirements:
• At least 10 years experience including 5 years as “Financial Controller” or CFO, preferably in the insurance industry in the GCC, experience in life insurance accounting is a big plus.
• Must have a Bachelors degree in “Accounting”. Additional professional designations such as ACCA/CFA/CA, preferred.
• Fluency in Arabic and English preferred.
