Job Description:
For a new position in a leading and expanding international food company we are looking for a sales manager for the foodservice/catering sector. The Sales Manager is responsible for creating and managing the customer plans and sales for all foodservice and catering customers in the Middle East region. The product range includes high quality dairy, fish, seafood and meat products in a well known and established brand.

The Sales Manager provides direct customer interaction in order to understand the customer’s needs, deliver value added programs, and develop a tactical selling strategy. Implements the strategy with the customer, and measures the success of the tactics involved within the strategy.

Principal duties and
Responsibilities:

* Direct responsible for all foodservice sales to key customers in the Middle East region.
* Achieves all sales objectives including volume, profit and expenses associated with the selling of foodservice products to wholesalers, multi–unit restaurant operators and other key accounts within the foodservice/catering sector.
* Manages field contact and customer relationships in the Middle East region.
* Develop relationships with wholesaler’s day to day contacts across different functions, i.e. sales force, marketing, purchase, supply–chain, warehouse, etc
* Utilizing a solid personal network and culinary knowledge, to establish relationships with foodservice wholesalers and multi–unit restaurant operators to create and support recipe creation and new menu implementation.
*Minimum experience and knowledge requirements:
*This position requires a minimum of 4 years experience within the Foodservice/Catering sector wherein you have build a strong and recognized network.
*Preferable gained in a sales department in the food industry, at a foodservice wholesaler or at a restaurant operators head office that includes at least direct selling experience to Foodservice/Catering wholesalers.
* Strong general business capabilities and analytical skills.
* Possesses solid intercultural, interpersonal and team working skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* The company language is English, but it would be a clear advantage to be fluent in Arabic.

Experience: 1 – 5 Years

Education: Bachelors Degree
