Responsibilities:
• Receive and prioritize authorized development requests from SAP Business
Analysts
• Efficient allocation of ABAP programming resources to development effort
• Monitor efficiency and performance of all ABAP Reports, Interfaces, Conversions,
Enhancements and Forms (Smart Forms and Adobe Forms)
• Ensure all developments are compatible with future SAP version upgrades and
patches
• Ensure documentation standards and templates are adhered to for all
development activity
• Conduct technical impact analysis assessment with SAP Business Analyst prior to
development activity
• Lead all programming and testing of SAP ABAP application code
• Authorize release of ABAP developments and upload developed code into
development and test environments for SAP Business Analyst testing
• Oversight of all code debugging to ensure error‐free code delivery
• Lead future data migration, upload and conversion efforts
• Document developed code specifications and upload into project library
• Ensure agreed service levels to end‐users are maintained for SAP ABAP team
Key Skills required:
• Software development using SAP ABAP
• SAP ABAP Certification
• Resource Management
• JAVA programming experience
• Strong technical documentation skills
