Job Description:
– To implement all standard procedures and utilize surveillance systems to secure the business operation against risks and to maintain the general safety of the site, people and merchandise; to intervene and respond effectively to threats and critical situations and implement evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency.
– The Security agent is the key intermediary between the store management, the store personnel and ACR Gulf management
– Reception and Access Control: screening and counting of customers and visitors to the store to ensure that the number does not exceed the limit set by the store manager; diplomatic directing of tradesmen, sales representatives and couriers etc to another entrance.
– Access control and monitoring of staff from external service providers: regular inspection of bins and hover bags
– Welcoming and greeting customers: offering to take coats/bags; settling customers at sales desks; offering catalogues etc
– Monitoring of sales processes and transactions: maintaining a discrete presence to ensure that no theft or attempt to manipulate or trick the sales agent is carried out.
– Regular Inspections of the stores display units, windows, cupboards etc
– Implementation of fire safety procedures
– Quality control and management of technical equipment: ensuring the good working order/ mastering the use of all the following equipment:
1. Fire Alarm and detection systems
2. Closed–circuit video surveillance system
3. Alarm system –window displays
4. Anti–intruder alarms
5. Secure–entry system
6. The Safe/s
7. Panic button
8. Door–opening beeper alerts
– Updating the Logbook: daily recording of all the activities (both ordinary and outstanding) which occur during period of duty.
– Observation of Door Opening procedures
– Assistance and intervention in accidents: provision of first aid
– Intervention and response to emergency and threatening situations: to intervene and behave in accordance with security policies and procedures in the event of raids and theft attempts and other attacks.

Education: Higher Secondary
Responsibilities:
Reception and access control of customers and visitors to the premises; utilize surveillance systems; implementation of standard security procedures; quality control checks of security installations; monitoring of sales transactions to ensure to prevent loss and theft.
Skills:
– Knowledge of security equipment; surveillance and alarm system and fire detection system.
– First aid qualifications; Languages to include English and preferably fluent in Arabic.
– Must be confident, flexible with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
– Very presentable appearance with the highest standards of grooming and personal hygiene.
