Jobs in UAE – For handling accounting and administrative tasks for French legal entities where business activities are located in Africa, we are in need of a SENIOR ACCOUNTANT in line with the following details.
REPORTING: Financial Controller based in Sharjah
JOB PURPOSE:
Accounting & reporting for two French legal entities that support Sodexo activities in Africa.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
• handling administrative and accounting tasks
• interacting with 8 affiliates (Algeria, Angola, Cameroon, Congo Brazzaville, Gabon, Guinea, Madagascar, Nigeria). You will be accountable for these countries during the closings
• validating the documents issued and received by our two companies, organising the accounting treatment of their operations and evaluating tax impacts with the support of Group Sodexo Tax department
• ensuring booking of all operations in several currencies, re-invoicing to affiliates, financial transactions, treasury follow up, tax filing, monthly closings as well as management reporting for these 3 entities, While simplifying and optimising the flows
• Liaising with the HR department for the payroll and benefits related matters
• Ensuring consistency of data integrated in Accounting.
• Ensuring management reporting on a monthly basis to Headquarter
YOUR KEY RESULT AREA WILL INCLUDE :
In addition to have the overall accounting responsibility and to respect the deadlines of the Group reporting, you will be required to continue the process of simplification and optimisation of the flows engaged recently.
