Job Description: Siebel product knowledge for functional/Gap mappings:
1– Leading a team of 10–15 of internal staff (contractors & permanent) as well as vendor consultants to manage and deliver multiple key projects.
2– Managing all design and development as per the DC Standard Siebel Methodology. Follow all aspects of effort estimation, applying the world standard estimation methods, such as COCOMOII, Function Points during the different phases of the project.
3– Planning & scheduling:
The Tech. lead will create iterations and development plans delivered in the form of WBS, assigning resources and creating task dependencies.
4– Solution & Systems Design:
a. Creating the Design Document (HLD/LLD) for the project and conducting design sessions with the team to come up with use case realizations and domain model.
b. Reviews the design with the design board and obtains their acceptance.
c. Coordinate with the architecture team on the implementation details for the solution.
5– Monitoring and Follow up:
With development progress, environment setup progress, any pending issues with other teams (analysis, DB) and escalate to project management as necessary.
Experience: 10+ Years
Education: Bachelors Degree
Skills:
1. Experienced with several SDLC methodologies, preferably Siebel eRoadmap, Iterative Model, RUP & Agile methodologies and the corresponding management tools.
2. Long track record of implementing Enterprise solutions (Enterprise Siebel eBusiness Suites & SOAbased)
3. SDLC customization / tailoring to fit a specific project needs.
4. Paying very close attention to Technical details.
5. Excellent knowledge of core OO concepts, design techniques and patterns.
6. Solid understanding of configuration management concepts and tools, preferably VSS.
7. Experience with Siebel public Sector is a plus.
8. Experience in Applications Integrations with SOA, web services and ESB is a plus.
9. Expertise in Siebel Configuration, Scripting, EIM, Workflows, Web services. Siebel Admin knowledge will be a Plus.
10. Siebel Data Model knowledge.
