Jobs in UAE – An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Procurement Manager to join a new dynamic fit out contractor in the UAE.
A key addition to the team, the Senior Procurement Manager will have sole responsibility for all procurement activities on the Project.
•Single point responsibility to ensure equipment and materials are supplied to schedule, quality and budget.
•Development of the procurement plan, including procurement strategies for selected equipment.
•Input to the vendor list generation as required.
•Order placement for key critical equipment including leading critical negotiations.
•Coordinate the inquiry and order placement of any third party services.
•Management of all procurement interfaces within the project team eg between engineering, construction, projects etc.
•Input to resource management.
•Chair progress reviews and provide progress reporting and control.
•Measuring performance against metrics.
•Keeping the Project Director informed as to the procurement status in general, and matters important or critical to the project.
•Participating in the development of the Project Master Schedule and maintaining procurement performance to support the scheduled completion date.
•Ensuring the correct level of quality control is applied to the supply of equipment and materials.
•Take lead role in critical problem resolution.
•Risk analysis and management.
