Job Description:
They are seeking to hire services of a Senior Service Engineer – IA

– To provide assigned customers with technical telephone and site support on the implementation and lifecycle support on IA systems.
– Reports to the Operations Manager and has daily interaction with customers at all levels
– Provides technical support to customers and Service Engineers on IA system problems.
– Provides Diag. Read and Tel file analysis of dump files for approval by Principal Engineer and/or Corporate Technical Support
– Advises customer and project teams on site preparation and layout prior to installation
– Performs system start up operations
– Assists customers in the commissioning of processes
– Modifies configuration and updates relevant documentation
– Assists technical sales representatives in product and equipment set ups demonstrations and presentations
– Instructs and assists more junior personnel in resolving problems and correcting faults
– Manages the customer support of Service Product Announcements
– Provides 24 hour service when on call

Experience: 5 – 10 Years

Education: Masters Degree

Skills:

– Engineering Degree
– Minimum of 5 years with exposure to projects, site activities and troubleshooting.
– Should be confident and have good interpersonal skills.
– Must be able to work independently in stressful situations particularly during site emergencies.
