Job Description:
The restaurant opened in 2009 and has been building a buzz ever since. With 200 covers the restaurant offers contemporary French cuisine with an original and creative touch. The menu has been a celebrated critical success frequently named within the top 10 places to eat in Dubai

Experience: 1 – 5 Years

Education: Bachelors Degree

Responsibilities:
– Stable and strong second in command for the restaurant
– Assist the Head Chef in meeting and exceeding the company Food GP Budget
– Assists the Head Chef in ensuring all kitchen staff are trained on dish specification and how to achieve food margins
– Responsible for all invoices being processed and accounted for
– Implement and ensure the company Health & Safety Policy is met at all times this includes the training of all kitchen staff
– Ensure Company Health & Safety & Food Hygiene Policy is met at all times – this includes the training of all kitchen staff

Skills:

– Hospitality and management education from a college or university would be an asset
– Worked within the kitchen for at least 5 years
– Exposure to Michelin or similar accolade environment
– Excellent P&L, cost control and financial acumen
– Proven track record in establishing stable and proactive kitchen brigades
– Exposure to French Cuisine
