Jobs in UAE – The Position: Guide, advise, consult and provide a full range of professional services to the customer ensuring that various services such as relaxation and treatment facilities are provided. This position will be the primary contact within the spa and will carry out the appropriate safe health, beauty and spa treatments, which have been agreed with individual guests and to consult and recommend the sales of a wide range of health and beauty products.

Job Accountabilities:

Advise and consult with guests and visitors on the full range of facilities, treatments and services of the spa, and to recommend the individual and confidential treatments, which are most suited to their needs.

Carry out the agreed treatments and recommendations with the guests, maintaining an ongoing dialog and service advice according to the exact procedures for the various treatments.

Follow a well-organised and prepared schedule of treatments and use of facilities for each guest and be personally responsible for managing the range of guest activities which includes treatment reservations, billing, preparation of facilities and products, clearing and cleaning of facilities and treatment areas at conclusion of services

Ensure that guests receive and have access to all spa facilities and individual treatment requirements and ensure that proper pre- and post-consultation is held on their treatments. Actively promote the spa services, and sales of product ranges which are retailed within the hotel/resort

Liaise and co-ordinate arrangements with various other units such as housekeeping services, laundry and cleaning services, maintenance and Food & Beverage to ensure that each guest receives consistent and comprehensive services

Ensure the individual and general spa work areas are kept supplied with the full range of treatment and sales products, and that all these work areas are maintained in a neat, professional, hygienic, and safe manner.

Health and Safety inspections and standards of operation are to be maintained at all times

To provide the full range of services offered by spa, and to ensure that a creative, flexible, and proactive approach is taken in the provision of the ?wellness? services and treatments, and that the atmosphere of the resort spa is upheld at all times

Handle immediate complaints in a diplomatic manner and co-ordinate with the Spa Manager and other units to ensure that the guest receives services in a well co-ordinated and timely manner

To represent the image of the Emirates Hotels & Resort services, its ideals, and its policies by maintaining the groomed, professional and open appearance in dealing with all visitors.

At all times assisting in the promotion of the hotel/resort through guest contact and to ensure a friendly, informal and polite relationship between guests and other staff.

The job holder should be up to date with to all standards and procedures maintained by the resort

Ensure that level of waste of products and materials are minimal thereby keeping in line with the units overall expense budget
Be aware of the impact of treatments and services on the health, well being, appearance, and medical conditions of their guests.

This aspect of the individual services will need to provide for the follow-up and continuity for guests, even once they have departed the resort
