Jobs in UAE – Our client, a global Middle East based Takaful companies is seeking a highly qualified Senior Surveyor of Motor Takaful Department to join their team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be directly reporting to the Motor Manager and will be responsible for direct communication to customers regarding status of surveys, in consultation with the department head.

Responsibilities:
• Negotiate with dealers/workshops for vehicle repairs in the best interest of the company.
• Liaise with Brokers, Surveyors, Dealers, Garage owners, Branches in respect of the motor claims surveys.
• Assess constructive total loss for any vehicle in case of substantial damage and vehicle cancellation by the police.
• Monitor effectiveness of IT system and ensure all procedures and claim guidelines are fully adhered to by supporting staff.
• Ensure that established check lists are followed whilst survey and correct and adequate documentation are made available in the claims files.

Requirements:
• University Degree in Economics or Finance, ideally ACCA/CFA/CA.
• In-depth knowledge in the products and operation of Motor Takaful lines of business.
• Vast operational knowledge in processing methodology concerning Total Loss Claims and Salvage value realization.
• At least 5 years experience in managing high volumes of claims and managing the surveyors, dealers, garages and brokers in an insurance organization in the GCC.
