We are currently looking to recruit a Supervisor for our Travel Retail Outlet based in Mall of the Emirates. You will be responsible for overall day-to-day operations of the outlet in accordance with overall company policy. Your main focus will be to improve the commercial performance of the outlet by increasing its turnover and maximising profitability. Major parts of the job on a day-to-day basis include managing staff, finding new ways to improve sales and meeting customer demand.
Job Description:
Selling travel products and tour packages; Dealing with customer enquiries and aiming to meet their expectations; Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency; Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximise profits; Analysing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning; Using information technology to record sales figures and for data analysis and forward planning; Dealing with staffing issues and organising training and development; Ensuring standards for quality, customer service is met; Responding to customer complaints and comments; Organising special promotions, displays and events; Updating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues; Touring the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues; Maintaining awareness of market trends in the Travel retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitoring what local competitors are doing; Initiating changes to improve the business, e.g. revising opening hours to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local market; Dealing with sales, as and when required; Ensure all Accounting procedures are followed and on time delivery of reports and cash deposits; Maintaining Al-Futtaim standards at all time.
