We are currently looking to recruitaSystems Engineer – SAP Customer Relationship Mgmt (CRM), whowill be primarilyresponsible for defining and supporting the SAP CRM Interaction centre, Marketing, Service and Sales functionality. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the design, configuration, testing, implementation, documentation and maintenance of the SAP CRM environment, as well as maintenance support of the current system and be assigned to the more complex projects that typically require significant integration with other areas.The SAP Systems Engineer maintains a high degree of customer satisfactionto each of their customers through their configuration, investigation, analysis, consulting, development, coaching, knowledge transfer and relationship building efforts.Implementing appropriate processes to drive high quality and sustainable solutions will be critical.Your duties will include:
Provide expert level knowledge in the evaluation, development, testing and delivery of SAP applications and business process developments Collaborate with the business in identifying functional requirements for process groups, creating corresponding technical specifications Create and modify SAP configurations using defined development standards, procedures, and design specifications Develop test scripts, perform unit testing and contribute to integration testing of development objects Provide technical supportand training to the end users; diagnose and resolve application-related issues, identify root causes, as well as institute corrective actions and preventive measures Carry out detailed impact assessments for proposed change requests, proposing alternative cost-effective solutions where appropriate Ensure Change Controls are developed, testedand released according to an agreed schedule and ensure all high business impact changes are escalated as appropriate Continuous Improvement Work with other functional teams within IT and the Business to identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in the implementation of those agreed Maintain and enhance SAP Development skills and knowledge. Identify and recommend new technologies to management, as well as detail potential applications and implications for the businessCommunications Maintain close working relationships with STS team members, infrastructure groups, and customers to ensure broad awareness of program status and issues. You should be an experienced consultant who is organised, reliable with a proven track record. You should be used to working with and getting the best from project and support teams.
