Job Description:
Perform as a Coordinator between Senior Operations Coordinators and the Production Team Members to achieve the targeted to number of meal production and maintain high standard of hygiene & quality.

JOB CONTEXT:

Job holder has to carry out the responsibilities to ensure a healthy and safe operating environment for all team members thorough use of risk assessments and safe operating procedures. Maintain a highest standard of quality, hygiene and timely action up to the expectation of the ISO standard of 9001:2000.

This is an HACCP certified operation

Experience: 1 – 5 Years

Education: Bachelors Degree

Responsibilities:
– Ensure a health and safe operating environment for all team members through use of risk assessments and safe operating procedures.
– Communicate all safety issues to a coordinator and ensure actions are put in place to eliminate risk and accident or injury.
– Complete accident forms for all incidents in conjunction with a coordinator.
– Ensure daily and weekly production plans are achieved.
– Monitor the completion of all required quality and production paperwork.
– Identify and implement efficiency, waste and yield improvements.
– Measure, analyze and act on production yield data.
– Measure, analyze and act on key performance indicator information.
– Assist and train team members in working methods, daily production and food preparation (work orders & daily routing).
– Manage wastage and yield levels to ensure product costs are achieved.
– Support in problem solving situations in regard to food production or equipment performance.
– Able to work under time related pressure so as to meet all production schedules.
– Monitor labor hours within the team and work to achieve budgeted labor costs/meal.
– Ensure production procedures are followed as per standards and specifications.
– Highlight engineering issues to the engineering team via the use of engineering request documents.
– Identify and communicate all non conformances.
– Participate in all quality related activities.
– Liaise with all other departments on site and facilitate communication through to production team members all relevant information.
– Maintain all levels of hygiene and work safety regulations as per Food Point procedures.
– Assist in the implementation of all new dishes, and meal components.
– Participate in regular feedback to Production team members, Senior Production Coordinators, Senior Operations Manager, Research and Development department and the Technical Manager.
– Ensure all policies and procedures are communicated to relevant team members and adhered to.
