Job Description:
– 1. To provide technicians support and to work with engineers broad scale of activities pertaining to LTSA contract with Client.
– 2. To perform the following typical functions:
–
– – Fibre optic cable and network equipment troubleshooting
– – Copper RJ45 installation and network equipment troubleshooting
– – Power supply trouble shooting
– – Basic Foxboro & Triconex troubleshooting
– – Basic assistance in spare parts management
– – Basic use of PC and system tools
– – Involvement in system internal and client factory acceptance testing.
– – Use of office software tools to generate electrical technical documentation and printed output.

– 3. To perform any other reasonable tasks or duties requested by the Department Manager.
– 4. To comply with Health & Safety guidelines and work in accordance with Client / and IPS procedures. To follow Quality procedures
Experience: 1 – 5 Years
Education: Bachelors Degree
Responsibilities:
– Client support on IPS Qatar LTSA contract. This will mainly consist of HW and system cabling work and maintenance. Also assistance with spare parts.
– Reports to the Operations Manager / LTSA Site manager and has daily interaction with customers at all levels.
Skills:
– More than 2 years of work in control systems staging, FAT and commissioning, alternative is 3–4 years of working in control system maintenance. Advantage given to networking system experience.
– Trade school or High school of Electrical engineering
