Job Description:
Our Client is a well integrated recruitment company seeking a Thermal Engineer.


Skills:
A good understanding of heat transfer and methods of thermal control is essential.

The successful candidate will work within dynamic team environments and be responsible for spacecraft and mechanical platform thermal design activities in the Telecoms Business Unit.
Project teams are collectively responsible for the detailed design and manufacture of the mechanical platform (which comprises the structure, propulsion system, thermal hardware and harnessing) for Eurostar 3000 and other spacecraft.

Responsibilities will include:
– Managing thermal analysis activities and performing the propulsion system thermal design.
– Controlling the cost and schedule relating to thermal design activities.
– Providing inputs to planners in respect of thermal design, procurement and manufacturing activities.
– Acting as the point of contact between the system thermal architect and the team.
– Implementing the thermal requirements from the system thermal architect as hardware.
– Interfacing with thermal equipment suppliers.
– Managing process improvement programmes as required.

Experience: 1 – 5 Years

Education: Bachelors Degree
