Job Description:
In response to strategic growth, they are currently seeking a full–time Project Manager for the Dubai office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a variety of transportation engineering projects ensuring that each project is delivered on schedule and budget by effectively utilizing staff resources. Responsibilities include business development, project coordination and administration, as well as client liaison and engineering reviews, designs, approvals and studies.
Experience: 5 – 10 Years
Education: Bachelors Degree
Responsibilities:
The successful incumbent would know possess an expert–level understanding of Transportation Planning, Travel Demand Management and Modeling using the EMME/2, VISUM and Trans CAD. In a project scoping, policy and compliance capacity, you would be wholly responsible for:
– the development and delivery of Traffic Impact Assessments related to new and existing developments including workload delegation and peer mentoring;
– the completion of the functional and detailed design of transportation planning studies including liaison with external multidisciplinary professionals urban planners, architects, landscape and streetscape design professionals, various municipal stakeholders and more.
– You must possess a demonstrated technical aptitude for Traffic and Transportation Planning and Engineering combined with a broad range of multidisciplinary sensibilities all tied together with a stellar academic background, incredible work ethic and a real desire to work on some of the most exciting and progressive projects available!

– All this will be integrated with state–of–the–art Public Transit and Intelligent Transportation Systems such as ATMS and ATIS.
Skills:
– A university degree in Civil Engineering preferred with a specialty in Transportation Planning or Transportation Engineering
– 10 to 15 years of municipal infrastructure and roadway design and construction experience at increasing levels of responsibility;
– Excellent technical, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills;
– Strong working knowledge of MS Office;
– Experienced with the preparation of civil engineering design drawings for land development and municipal roadway projects;
– Initiative and an ability to work independently while leading a team of design professionals;
– A commitment to excellence and high quality work with a strong attention to detail and accuracy;
– Previous project management experience within the consulting industry would definitely be an asset.
