THE CLIENT
Our client is one of the leading fmcg manufacturers with over 150 years manufacturing experience in the Middle East. They are currently expanding their operations throughout the Middle East and require a Vice President – HR to join their operations in the U.A.E. The position reports to the Executive Chairman and the Board of Directors and the primary responsibility is to work in an integrated team to support, influence and advise managers and employees on all human resources issues through implementation of effective procedures, policies and initiatives, designed to enhance and facilitate performance, to meet and exceed the business plan.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Advising and guiding line management on human resources issues relating to recruitment, development, performance, reward management and management of change.
Responsible for recruitment process etc of staff from for example internal approval process to hiring of external recruiters.
Responsible for staff orientation programme.
Responsible for identification and implementation of training needs arising out of career development requirements and succession planning.
Supporting the organisation through acquisitions and divestments by dealing with all people issues such as amalgamation of terms of conditions, consultation, ranking, design and application of appropriate redundancy criteria, coordination of redundancy programme to successful completion, as well as induction of new staff.
Coordinator for the participation to major salary surveys and analysis of responses leading to successful remuneration programme supporting recruitment and pay development of employees.
Coordinator for manpower reporting.
