Welcome guests in his/her station and to assist in seating.Present menus to the guest with recommendations designed to increase average check.Take food and beverage orders and to ensure speedy service of all food and beverage items.Ensure that each table is correctly set up as per food and beverage order requirements.Participate in service of food and beverage items especially during rush hours.Check and follow-up on billing and checking procedures as per policies set by the company.Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed as per policies set by the company. To be present in the restaurant during service hours.Ensure that tables are cleaned and reset immediately after the guests have leftDevelop and maintain good relations with guests and to handle guest complaints as required by the restaurant manager or his assistant.Ensure that the restaurant manager and assistant restaurant manager are kept informed of all guest comments and complaints.Perform any additional duties required by his/her superiors.
