Our client, a leading Oil company, is focusing on UAE operations with resident and rotational positions available for drilling professionals throughout the UAE.
The project will commence late in 2009.
Reporting to: Drilling Manager
Primary Accountabilities;
• Overall responsibility for the well planning design and planning process in accordance with the management system.
• Liaison with the Asset / Subsurface team to ensure that the well planning information is presented in a comprehensive and detailed manner consistent with the requirements of the management system.
• Develop AFE’s and cost tracking processes to ensure well programs meet defined
• budget criteria
• Lead the engineering team to provide operational input to planning process.
• Audit safe stocking levels of critical equipment.
• Responsible for technical input and scopes of work for tendering, evaluation and award of drilling, completion and testing service contracts
